Rainbow International provide needles/sharps uplift services in Glasgow, throughout Central Scotland and beyond
Coming into contact with ’sharps’ (needles, hypodermic syringes and bladed items) is of great concern to the public. This concern is especially acute when sharps associated with illegal intravenous drug use are found in public places such as parks, car parks, children’s playgrounds, underpasses and courtyards.
Everyone knows about the hazards associated with handling needles and other drug paraphernalia but not everyone knows how to handle them properly. Rainbow International technicians are specially trained to handle such materials safely whether they are discarded in a public area, left lying around the home or in hidden areas. Unless you are trained in handling needles and other sharps, we strongly advise against it to prevent transmission of diseases such as Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV.
