Your safety is of the utmost importance, do not enter the building unless you have been told by a qualified professional that it is okay. If you get confirmation that the structural integrity of the building is safe and that it is safe to go inside, ensure that you wear protective clothing, as soot and smoke can be incredibly harmful.
Ensure that the gas, water and electricity are all switched off at the mains. DO NOT touch the electrical mains if they are wet. If you are unsure, then get in contact with your utility providers.
